Saemangeum is emerging fast as new growth base camp furnished with international port, airport, railway, and highway. In addition, it is the closest to Chinese east coast. It has the incentives as well as vast lands to investors through the Saemangeum Special Law.

With such an excellent geographical advantages as is located not only in the region closest to China, but also in the center of Korea, Saemangeum can be born again the main distribution center of Yellow Sea Rim region as it can have convenient and spacious international seaport with the deepest water(25m) in Korea.

The Saemangeum Project is creating reclaimed land of 283 ㎢ and fresh water reservoir of 118 ㎢ by constructing  the world longest 33 Km sea-dike.
